| Chinatown Hotel Reviews |
| The biggest plus is the hotel's location close to the tourist attractions of Bangkok. In the restaurant of the hotel unfortunately never been. Wanted to visit the numerous restaurants China Town. We are fans of chinese cuisine. Necessarily in the next trip to Bangkok will only stay in your hotel. | by Alexander Tilyukov from Russian Federation(Monday, January 16, 2012)

| I liked everything during their stay. I think the price of the accommodation in the hotel corresponds to the quality. It would be nice to get a discount for the stay at your hotel next time. | Hotel is close to Trimit Temple, one of the large Golden Buddha in the world. It’s very conveniently to reach there by walking within 5-10 minutes. The room is clean as they clean it every morning with free Wifi Internet providing. The hotel staff has a courtesy and very nice to recommend and explain how to go and see the attractions around Bangkok.
While staying at the Chinatown Hotel, I found that the business in this area is still open as normal, as they well prepared and protected themselves in advance. However, the Chinatown area got lightly affected from the flood due to the rising water in the morning and dried by itself within few hours. So, the inner of Bangkok is not too serious as guessed, especially, the business at the Chinatown area. | | Service | | | Location | | | Rooms | | | Cleanlines | | | Value for money | |

| I made the booking to stay at the Chinatown Hotel on 27 Oct.’11, expected to stay for a couple of days. As heard and watched the TV from CNN and other news, said that Bangkok now is under the water.
Due to this report, I wrote to the hotel to make sure before arrival. I got prompt reply with the right information and said that Chinatown areas got problem only from the rising water at around 08.00 hours; this water will be relieved by itself at around 12.00 hours.
On the way down from Suvannabhum Airport to the hotel, found the business of the bank, shop and restaurant on the street of the Chinatown still open as normal. However, most of them prepared and have the fence of cement concrete to protect themselves from the flood problem
The Chinatown Hotel as well, they also prepared and protected, especially, don’t be surprised that you will receive the warm welcome from them as usual, as the staff of this hotel never getting the panic due to prepared and well trained! | | Service | | | Location | | | Rooms | | | Cleanlines | | | Value for money | |

| the hotel is a bit hard to find via taxis, so make sure you have the thai address ready to show the cabbies. we checked in quite early, but had no problems. the staff were all generally friendly and helpful. some of them can speak fluent mandarin too! rooms are clean enough and have a very 'chinese' feel to the decor. not many fantastic amenities, but hey come on, the price is pretty good! about 10-15 mins walk to yaowarat/pahurat from the hotel. overall, china town hotel will be quite worth your money. | | Service | | | Location | | | Rooms | | | Cleanlines | | | Value for money | |

| I made a reservation for a single for one night on 20 Ju.’11 and received a very warm welcome with a smiling from the reception and a very energetic porter as well. The room as assigned was considered quite good than I expected. I stayed on the higher floor with the window and got no effect from the smell of the carpet because this item has been released from the room after renovation on lasts year. It’s also very convenient to use the Internet as I can use choose to use WiFi or wired LAN. (You may ask this jwired Lan from the hotel if you don’t have) When I checked out and took the meter taxi to Hualamphont Railway Station, I cannot remember that my bag was forgotten until getting on the train. I then called to check at the hotel but there was no bag as claimed left at the hotel. Luckily, I was informed from the porter that, he can trace my bag as the number to the meter taxi has been noted at the porter log book and my bag was kept until I return to the hotel again on 25 Jul.’11. I was impressed with China Town Hotel very much. | | Service | | | Location | | | Rooms | | | Cleanlines | | | Value for money | |
